  1. How about Central Dauphin upsetting Cumberland Valley at their field. CV was previously ranked in the top 5 in every poll. It was 17-0 with less them 2 min left in the 4th before CV scored on a drive where CD committed 2 PI penalties and an illegal substitution. CD effectively slowed the Eagles Wing-T offense and managed a zero turnover game. CD has a long way to go to become a legitimate state competitor but with 4 games to go in the season there is ample time for improvement.

  2. District 3 News-How ’bout LS shutting out Manheim Central 22-0 in Week 6?!! And on Manheim Central’s perfect turf field too. I don’t think the record books go back far enough to know when the last time that has happened.

  3. Don’t leave Pennridge out of the picture. They are rolling with their blow out win against Souderton and their 2-0 loss against Council Rock South (ranked 7th in the State) They are healthly and running on all cylinders. Granted Pennridge had a rough start due to injuries but keep an eye out they have one of the best defenses in the state.

  4. Let me correct myself. Remove Parkland from the list of remaining games and add Nazareth. If they beat Nazareth, they will definitely get recognized.

  5. @Buddy,

I don’t want to speak for the website, but it is possible that whoever does these rankings is taking Freedom’s opponent’s records into account. Their opponents are a combined 8-28. They still have Liberty, Parkland, Easton, and BECA. If they knock off a few of them, then I’m sure they will get some notice.

  6. Where’s high and mighty North Schuylkill? They won, but they were, physically beaten, battered, and just thrashed by the Blue Raider defense.

Springfield has a decent team this year but Wood is on a whole different level. Wood wins this game by 3-4 touchdowns.

  8. How about central dauphin defeating cumberland valley, no one gave them a chance, central dauphin has to be favorites in a very weak commonwealth division.

  9. Ryan Zapoticky, Jim Roccograndi, Kris Roccograndi of dallas. Ryan Zapoticky 7-10 2tds passing and 1td rushing. Jim Roccograndi 19-105yds. Jim’s 5th 100yd game in a row. Kris Roccograndi 13 tackles 1 pick. Dallas 28 Wyoming valley West 27.

  10. Central Bucks South Titans was outstanding against a very good Quakertown team. CB South won 37-13, shutting Quakertown out to zero points in the second half. Dan Brown, CB South’s running back scored three touchdowns and now has 18 total touchdowns in 6 games. Matt Johns was 9-13 with 240 yards in the air and also ran one in from 22 yards out. Souths defense made a name for themselves with a huge goaline stand in the fourth quarter. The Titans are now 4-2 heading into a big game against Souderton.

  11. Springfield is AAA…They are a good team, but we’ll see what kind of team they really are in the final three weeks of their scheduale.

  12. Springfield (Delco) may be for real this year. They’ve quietly built and undefeated record so far. Have a quality win against Conestoga. They close out the regular season with Garnet Valley, Strath Have, and Marple Newtown. If they can run the table they’ll prove their mettle. Maybe they could knock off Wood in the AAA playoffs.

  13. Keith Day had 3 interceptions against Blake Rankin and Fegley was 7-7 for 160yds and 2 Tds, Matt Moore had 117 yds on 7 carries with 2 TDs and a 40yd TD reception. Savitski and Levan each had 92 yds on 13 carries with 2 TDs a piece in their 67-27 win against bloomsburg. They scored 10 TDs in the game. 3 by Moore, 2 by Levan, 2 by Savitiski. 2 by backup RBs, and another by Young.
