Dunmore jumped out to a, 42-6, lead at intermission after scoring on each of their first five possessions in the first twenty-four minutes. The Bucks (3-0, 8-0) cruised to the finish line as they were victorious over Western Wayne, 49-18.
Dunmore’s Daiqwon Buckley only needed 5 carries to gain 142 yards. Buckley’s running mate, Austin Seamon, not only rushed for 51 yards but also returned the second half kickoff for a score. Buck receiver caught 5 passes for 107 yards and 2 scores from Jordan Dempsey. The 6’2 senior signal caller tossed for 115 yards.
Western Wayne dropped to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the division. The Wildcats quarterback Johnny Rhodes completed 14 of 28 passes for 172 yards and a score. Western Wayne has now lost three of their last four contests. The ‘Cats will try and right the ship next week at Honesdale.
