The Philadelphia Eagles sponsored Girl’s flag teams in NJ and PA this year. Saturday at the Eagles Novacare complex the league championship games were held. The final four PA teams featured were Palumbo, Abington, Gwynedd Mercy and Archbishop Wood. Archbishop Wood came away the champion with a convincing 34-14 win over Gwynedd Mercy. Wood had advanced to the championship game by defeating Palumbo 33-0. Thank you to the Eagles especially Dan Levy Youth Football and Community Relations Manager.
