2021 Outlook:
Offense: We will look to develop consistency in both scheme and performance on the offensive side of the ball. Our guys up front gained valuable experience last season and have been committed both in the weight room and in drills throughout the off-season. Kael Godshalk is returning healthy and has been a leader on and off the field. At quarterback, both Eric Striba and Greg Campbell have performed well in our off-season drills and continue to develop within the offense. Gabe Woolverton returns in the H-Back position and he will play key roles touching the ball as well as blocking. We will need some players to step into the receiver roles and there are a number of players that have shown they are willing to compete for those spots.
Defense: We will look to develop a more physical and fundamental defensive scheme. We need to improve in creating turnovers and getting off the field on key downs. We return players at the linebacker position and we will look to them to lead the unit both verbally and physically. We have a number of players competing for playing time in the secondary. We expect this group to compete and be physical against the run, as well as execute coverage assignments. The biggest area of improvement will need to be upfront. Our DL players have worked hard in the off-season and we are anxious to see them continue to improve once we are on the field.
