Key Stats: Key Offensive Stat: Rushed for 2,123 yds at an average of 5.9 yards per carry.
Key Defensive Stat: 13 Interceptions

2018 Offensive Outlook: We graduated 3 starters on the offensive line so we are looking hard to see who fills in there. We will not change what we want to do. We will run the football. We feel really good about our So. RB Jon-Luke Peaker. I’m confident that we have the right guys to step in and fill those spots up front. Our passing game should really open up with a healthy Jordan Drew, an experienced Lawrence Richardson, and our explosive newcomer, Emmanuel Sia. We fully expect Lonnie Rice to lead this offensive group to big things this year at the quarterback position.

2018 Defensive Outlook: We bring back 8 starters. This group will define our team this year. Tyrone Fowler did a great job last year getting pressure off the edge, our LB’s Lawrence Richardson and Richard Cotton both had really good seasons last year, and our DB’s were excellent. 13 interceptions, Zay Scott and Lonnie Rice hold it down on the back end for us. We look to continue our aggressive and physical approach in 2018.

2018 Special Teams Outlook: We will have a new Kicker in Austin Alcorn (also plays soccer at McD). We have a number of electric athletes with the ball in their hands. We have yet to determine who will be taking on the returning duties but I like the guys that we have competing for those spots.
