  • Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase set for May 19, 2023

Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase was the longest-running showcase event in Central Pennsylvania.  The first Showcases took place in 2008 and 2009. Unfortunately, as a result of the global pandemic the Showcase was canceled in 2020 and the event hasn’t taken place since 2019. There were discussions in 2021 and 2022 about the possibility of organizing another Showcase, but the organization decided against arranging another Showcase.  After careful thought and consideration, we are proud to announce that Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase is back!  The Showcase will take place on Friday, May 19th, 2023 at Milton Hershey School.

Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. and the showcase will start at 5:30 p.m. The showcase is not invitation-only and is open to all student-athletes who will be in grades 9-12 in the 2023-2024 calendar year.

Featured on this year’s staff is Milton Hershey’s Head Coach, Jeff Boger.  The entire Milton Hershey Football Staff will be assisting with the drills at the showcase.  The staff will provide expert football instruction and assist them in getting an early start in their recruitment.

Over fifty colleges have been invited and many are expected to attend the Showcase.  Please check www.pashowcase.com for the final listings of college confirmations.  The athletes will be evaluated by college coaches during the entire showcase.

The athletes will go through testing drills in the 40-yard dash (twice, fastest time kept), the pro agility shuttle (twice, fastest time kept), and the standing broad jump (twice, longest jump kept).  Then the players will participate in their specific position drills for observation and then showcase their skills in one-on-ones to conclude the showcase camp.

A good performance at the showcase will certainly help your ability to be recruited as colleges pay attention to top performers, the results, as well as the video available from the event.  Showcases catch the eye of the colleges and the staff has noticed interest from colleges increase dramatically for prospects that performed well over the years.

Over three hundred and fifty student-athletes through the class of 2020 have participated in Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase and have continued their playing careers in college.  Here are some of the former attendees who are showcase alumni, Nicholas Singleton (Penn State), Brandon George (Pitt), Bobby Walchak (Penn State), Kane Everson (William & Mary), Damion Barber (Marshall), Kyle Friend (Temple), Kobay White (Boston College & Maine), Robert Martin (Rutgers), Kevin Synder (Rutgers), Jalen Fitzpatrick (Temple), John O’Korn (Michigan), Amechie Walker (Iowa State), John Hicks (Connecticut), Aaron Gethers (Boston College), Onasis Neely (Temple), and Dylan Neidrowski (Connecticut), Shaquon Anderson-Butts (Hampton), Andre White, Jr. (Texas A&M), Nazir Burnett (Temple), Stanford Maison (Georgetown), and Gaige Hill (Toledo).

The showcase will give players the opportunity to compete with other athletes and measure their skill sets.  The showcase staff will send the results to colleges for verification purposes if requested by the institution.  Go to www.pashowcase.com for more information and registration.

  • Registration is Now Open for the 2022 RSFA/ BIG 33/ PSFCA 5 Star Regional Combines

Registration is Now Open for the 2022 RSFA/ BIG 33/ PSFCA 5 Star Regional Combines

We are excited to invite you to participate at our 2022 Combines!

Our combines are for upcoming 9th-12th grades (classes of 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026) and are designed to give these athletes the opportunity to showcase their talents and testing skills in the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 shuttle run, L-Drill, Broad Jump, and Vertical Jump. At our combines, we use Dashr Laser Timing Systems for the most accurate timing. We have upgraded all of our laser timers to the New Dashr Laser Systems for the best timing and scoring.

In addition to the testing portion, our participants get the opportunity to work with coaches during the individual offense, and individual defense periods. At the end of the combine, participants compete in 1 on 1’s, and 2 on 2’s by their positions. We invite college coaches from DI, DII, and DIII, and national recruiting services to attend our combines to evaluate talent.

At the end of the combines, we send each athlete their individual scores. We ask all participants and their parents if they would like for us to send their scores to college coaches.

Top performers from our Regional Combines are invited to participate in our Elite Showcase during the weekend of the BIG 33 Football Classic. Don’t miss this opportunity for your athlete to showcase their talents and skills, and have a chance to impress college coaches at all levels on site.

After receiving feedback from college coaches in attendance, all of the coaches stated that they enjoy getting to see the participants perform up close and that they get the chance to pull the participants aside to ask them about their goals to play in college, ask them about their academics, and about the leadership skills they possess. Several of our participants who were in the class of 2022, committed to schools that attended our combines last year.

Come join us at our combines to compete, showcase your talents and abilities, and get noticed.

Upon registration, you will receive important information leading up to the combine, and you will be directed to download our app where all participants will have their own profile with all of their educational scores, and combine scores. We will be launching our app soon! Stay Posted

We enjoy bringing the best opportunities and resources for our football players across the state of Pennsylvania to help them reach their goals to potentially get noticed and play at the next level.

If you have any questions about our 5 Star Regional Combines or our Camps, please contact us at 717-434-4558 or at risingstarsfootballacademy62@gmail.com

BIG 33/ RSFA/ PSFCA 5 Star Regional Combines Powered by Hudl

HOW DO OUR COMBINES BENEFIT PA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS?

Our goal is to help our football players across PA by providing streamline recruiting. To help provide them with the resources they need during the recruiting process and to help provide them with the most accurate testing abilities.

At our combines, we use laser electronic technology for the 40, Shuttle, and L-Drill. This will provide the most accurate times for all participants. After the combines, scores will be sent to the participant, their parents, and the participant’s head football coach. Upon approval from the participant and their parents, we will then send their scores to recruiting coordinators and coaches in our database.

We have partnered with Hudl to film the combines so participants can use the film for highlights to upload to their personal Hudl profiles.

College Coaches will be present to evaluate talent. For coaches that cannot be in attendance, we will be live-streaming the combine. We will also be having National Preps attend our combines to evaluate talent.

The NCSA will join us in a zoom session, or onsite to speak about the college recruiting process and educational requirements to parents and players.

Top Performers from all combines will be invited to the ELITE COMBINE and SHOWCASE on 5-29 at the BIG 33 Football Game Weekend
