2018 Offensive Outlook: Cheltenham looks to build upon the momentum gained the end of last season where they won two of the final three games. Adonis Hunter started the final four games at QB as a sophomore and will compete with rising Sophomore Zachary Gaffin for the starting position. The Strength of the team should be at the offensive skill positions where they return the top 3 rushers from 2017 including Jamir Barnes (Jr.) and Sam Sykes (So.) who are extremely talented young backs. They also return both starting wide receivers in Mason Jones (Sr.) and Lateef “TJ” Harris (Jr.). On the offensive front they return four starters led by seniors Marcus Winfield (OT), Ryan Felder (OG), Daniel Gaffin (C), and Will Felix (TE)

2018 Defensive Outlook: All four lineman will also play a role on the defensive front, but Cheltenham is extremely excited about the future and depth of the rising sophomore class of Defensive lineman that includes five players all over six feet tall and weighing over 200 pounds. While most of the linebacking starters graduate there are a few returning players who played significant reps at LB last year including Garret Schmidt (Sr.) who played quite a bit at Mike. In the secondary both corners are back in TJ Harris (Jr.) and Frank Sullen (Sr.) and Mason Jones (Sr.) and Jamir Barnes will move into the primary roles at the safety positions.

2018 Special Teams Outlook: Cheltenham’s not so secret weapon may be the special teams unit in which they have a two sport Division I recruit at K/P in Justin Grady (Sr.) as well as a plethora of speed to rely on in the return game including Sam Sykes (So.) who returned a number of kicks last year as just a freshman.
