District 1 AAAA runner-up Council Rock South will now feature one of its players on the 2012 Big-33 Classic roster.
According to John Pizzigoni of the Council Rock South Football Boosters, tight end P.J. Gallo has been selected as a replacement for the Big-33 game, played June 16 at Hersheypark Stadium.
Gallo, a Maryland recruit, helped the Golden Hawks to a 23-4 record over the last two seasons.
Gallo was rated as the No. 23 tight end in the 2012 recruiting class by national recruiting service Scout.com, which ranked the CRS senior as the No. 3 tight end prospect in Pennsylvania’s 2012 class, trailing only Archbishop Wood’s Colin Thompson (Florida) and Shaler’s J.P. Holtz (Pitt). Thompson was ranked No. 2 and Holtz No. 10.
In his senior season, Gallo hauled in a team-leading nine passes for 135 yards as part of a Golden Hawk triple-option offensive attack which completed 21 pass attempts in 14 games. He averaged 15 yards per reception.
Also, as a blocker, Gallo helped to pave the way for a CRS ground game which averaged 278.8 yards per game and seven yards per carry on 518 total rushing attempts. The Golden Hawks finished the 2011 season with five backs with season rushing totals between 205 to 1,370 yards, scoring 44 rushing touchdowns.

Big P,
Check the East/West Game roster. Ralph is on that one. That game will be played at Gateway High School in Monroeville Sunday, May 6.
Good player, but I still do not see Ralphie Reeves on the roster…
