Delaware Valley, a District 2 “AAAA” school located in Milford, has landed on the Division-1 recruiting map, as one of the Warriors’ returning offensive linemen is receiving a good deal of Division-1 interest.
Brandon Clemons, a 6’4, 255-pound offensive guard for Delaware Valley, is up to seven Division-1 offers, according to his profile on Rivals.com. Most of Clemons’ offers have come from Big East schools.
Boston College, UCONN, Illinois, Maryland, Pitt, Rutgers and West Virginia have all offered Clemons, according to Rivals. Penn State is showing interest, but has not yet extended a scholarship offer.
Clemons helped pave the way for a Warrior offense that ran for nearly 160 yards per game a year ago. He provided blocking for a 700-yard rusher and 600-yard passer.
Delaware Valley finished the ’09 season 5-6 overall, averaging 18.3 points and over 220 yards of offense per game.
