Southern Columbia
After a 27-24 loss to Bloomsburg in week six the Tigers avenged the loss with a 28-6 win over Bloomsburg in a District 4 Class A playoff game.
Running back Jake Morton rushed for 131 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns.
Tim Benner caught three passes for 100 yards and one score. He also rushed for 85 yards.
Quarterback Jake Townsend completed 7 of 13 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
Townsend hit Freshman Jake Becker for a 16-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter completing Becker’s first varsity touchdown.
Southern Columbia plays Line Mountain.
Selinsgrove
Junior tailback Kyle Reinard had three touchdowns on five carries in the first quarter as the Seals shout out Columbia Montour Vo-Tech 54-0.
Reinard rushed for 101 yards on five carries. Grant Fleetwood rushed for 52 yards and Matt Wenrich rushed for 50 yards.
Quarterback Justin Keiser completed 8 of 9 passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns.
Selinsgrove plays Shikellamy.
Towanda
Towanda broke open a close game in the first half by scoring two touchdowns in the second quarter to a 35-7 victory over Troy area in the District 4 Class AA football playoffs.
Running back Travis Chesla rushed for 177 yards on 17 carries and one score.
Dakota Roof rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Towanda plays Lewisburg.
Hughesville
DJ Foresman threw two-touchdown passes to lead Hughesville over Athens 27-14 in the District 4 Class AA quarterfinals.
Ethan Showers ran for two scores.
Hughesville plays Loyalsock.

You have Selinsgrove ranked WAY TOO HIGH in your top ten.
Selinsgrove is just a big fish in a small pond in District 4 AAA.
Wait until ACC gets ahold of them…..it’ll be the man against the boys.
