District 4 Talk Week 12

Selinsgrove

Shikellamy scores first and Selinsgrove rips off 44 unanswered points in a 44-7 win over Shikellamy. With the win Selinsgrove won its sixth district title in a row.

Selinsgrove had 502 yards of total offense. They held Shikellamy to 129 yards of total offense.

Running back Kyle Reinard rushed for 215 yards on 15 carries.

Selinsgrove (12-0) plays District 6 champs Greater Johnstown (8-3)

Lewisburg

Lewisburg is heading to the PIAA District 2 Class 2A finals with a 19-14 win over Towanda.

John Moscarella rushed for 110 yards on 18 carries and one score. He caught one pass for 30 yards.

On defense Lewisburg held all-state candidate to 70 yards on 23 carries.

Southern Columbia

After a slow start at 3-4 the Tigers have ripped off five straight wins. The Tigers beat Line Mountain 42-14 to win their 18th district title in Class A.

Junior quarterback Jake Townsend passed for 137 yards and a touchdown. Fullback Jake Morton rushed for 121 yards and three scores.

Southern Columbia (8-4) plays Northwest Area (9-3)

Mount Carmel

Mount Carmel beat Hanover Area out of District 2 14-7 to capture the Eastern Conference Division II title.

Eddy Stewart finished the game with 92 yards rushing and Tyler Hodge added 70 yards.

Mount Carmel finished the season with a 7-5 record.
