Miller Holmes, a 1,600-yard, 25-touchdown passing quarterback, is good. Two mammoth offensive linemen are also good. Add in junior tailback Michael Perry, a career 2,900-yard rusher, and it puts Dunmore in everyone’s discussion of who is the District 2 “AA” favorite. Can the Bucks make a repeat trip to Hershey and avenge the 49-21 defeat by Jeannette? It would be District 2’s first repeat to the state finals since Berwick Area four-peated from 1994-’97. How will Dunmore replace team leader Pat Hart?

If the Bucks can play Jack Henzes style Dunmore football and play with heart, they have a great chance of going all the way.
They will be good, defensive leadership will be the most import gap to fill. They need to get it out of their heads that they are ranked at the top. I wish them the best of luck this year.
If Bucks stay healthy they have the potential of being better than last year. They are loaded for the next 4 years. Jack isn’t going any where as long as he’s healthy.
