Player of The year small school should be curtis drake from west catholic he was the first d-12 quarterback to pass and rush for a thousand yards in one season.
Big School coach of the year consideration should go to Chris Hakel of Mechanicsburg. Not the coach of a state champion, but who says coach of the year has to be? Taking a 3-7 team, still reeling from the death of a legendary veteran coach, and brings them to a 12-1 record and a step away from a district III championship. The team tied a school record for wins in a season and was the #1 seed in district III.
There are lots of great coaches at the big school level, but taking a 3-7 team and turning them into what they were this year is remarkable and deserves recognition.
That said, Moncman of Liberty more than deserves the award, and I expect he will get it.
Big School Coach- Has to be Tim Moncman he turned the Liberty program into a power now and finally broke through in Hershey with an amazing Season and AAAA Gold.
Small School Coach- Not sure
Big School Player- Anthony Gonzalez from Liberty if he doesnt get that award its a crime, he is one amazing athlete playing offense and defense all year long.
Small School Player- Its a toss up between 2 awesome backs in Jeremiah Young and Zach Barkett.
