Darrell Crawford attends a tough inner city school in Wilkes-Barre. Grand Army of the Republic High School, known as GAR has won two consecutive District 2 championships.
Darrell has lined up at quarterback, wide receiver, cornerback, kick returner and punt returner for the Grenadiers. The numbers speak for themselves, Crawford accounted for 39 touchdowns – 32 rushing, 3 on kick returns, 2 punt returns and 2 interception returns. Crawford threw for 12 scores and rushed for 1,834 yards.
He is a dazzling open field runner and is like tackling smoke when he is out in space. Crawford excels in the classroom and is a National Honor Society member.
