2023 Offensive Outlook: Last year we had a successful running attack while being able to throw deep with Shomari Richards. We’ve lost a lot of key experienced starters on the offensive line along with Shomari at wide receiver. While we aren’t bringing back as much experience we have great depth along the line and skill positions. Players are battling for starting spots every day in camp and it is helping us improve in a lot of areas. This year’s team should have a great rushing attack.

2023 Defensive Outlook: The key to our defense last season was a strong secondary that created a lot of interceptions and turnovers. We return many of those players in the secondary with a ton of experience. Last year we also had great defensive line play with a deep group to rotate in and out to keep guys fresh. We have lost some of that depth due to graduation on the defensive line, but the returning starters have a ton of experience. Our key to success this year is being sound tacklers.

2023 Special Teams Outlook: Stephen had an outstanding season last year, his first playing football. He recorded 12 touchbacks on kickoffs and looks to improve on that this season. He also made 8 FGs and has worked on that all off-season. I look for him to be a weapon for us on special teams this year.
