On Thursday, February 23rd, Mario Dattilo found out he was named Head Football Coach at Harriton. He takes over a program that went 5-5 in 2023.
Dattilo works with students to make a difference as Coordinator of School Culture. “I am a Coordinator of School Culture where I support students making good choices throughout our school community and work with families to help their students progress in a positive way.”
Mario coached Varsity Football at Boys Latin Charter School as well as Lower Merion High School. In both places, he coached the offensive line and served as the special teams coordinator.
He went to Centereach High School in New York where he was a three-year letter winner in football.
After that he played Division 1 football at Stony Brook University and competed along various positions on the offensive line.
Mario talked about coaching in the Central League, “The Central League is one of the best conferences for football in the state. It is filled with well coached programs and talented players.”
