2022 Offensive Outlook: “We are a run-first team. Connor Schmitt was our lead back the past two years. Replacing him will be a huge test for our team pre-season. We have a number of varsity running backs who have seen varsity action in the backfield (Max Mickel, CJ Hinton, Jake Mundy &Jeffery Santos). We also have a great group of rising sophomores who will compete for time (Mason Avery, Bradley Bibalo & Robert Quinn). Having a returning signal-caller in Aiden Collins will be huge for our development this season. We will be breaking in 4 new offensive linemen. It will come down to how quickly we can get our new starters to mature and pick up the offense.”

2022 Defensive Outlook: “We need to continue to tackle. Our entire secondary is back for their 3rd year together. They are battle-tested and need to continue to develop. CJ Hinton is back to lead the defense at MLB for the 3rd year. 2 of 4 starters return up front in Rocco Fluck and Aaron Phillips who had great years. Finding rotational guys and developing some of our young guys will be key to our success.”

2022 Special Teams Outlook: “Tyler Winters returns for his 3rd year punting and was named all-conference for the second year in a row. Last year he did the kicking as well and did a great job. We do have a few newcomers out to try their hand at kicking. Isaac Carmody returns for his 3rd year as our long snapper. Special teams have done a good job for us. We need to find some role players for special teams and develop our young guys and I think success will follow.”
