Tuesday night the Honesdale school board approved Jim Ludwig as the new head football coach. He replaces John Marichak, who resigned after two seasons with Honesdale.
Ludwig is a former player at Honesdale and he played linebacker at Mansfield. He was a assistant football coach at Honesdale since 2001.
