hudlSince the launch of Hudl Campaign, thousands of teams have taken advantage of the chance to create their own page to parents and fans.

Using Hudl to run your campaign will allow you to reach a broad set of supporters through email and social media and its easy to manage your donations online.

Fundraising has never been so easy.

It’s as easy as 1,2,3….

Step 1: Create your donation page. Potential donors will go here to learn what you’re raising money for. The page will feature your team’s highlights in this order: Top Plays, Premium Highlights, Game Highlights.

Step 2: Schedule your launch event. Get your whole team together for 30 minutes and invite as many potential supporters as possible. Pass out the cheat sheet ahead of time so athletes can come to the event prepared.

Step 3: Launch your campaign. As soon as your athletes input their contacts, you can launch your campaign and watch the funds roll in.

What is different about Hudl’s fundraiser? The players are running the campaign, not the parents. The head coach over see the fundraiser.

The split is 96/4 – Hudl keeps 4% to pay the CC transaction fees and its free to all teams currently using Hudl to setup and run.

As word about Hudl Campaigns continues to spread, more teams are coming on board with campaigns to their own.

Hudl Campaign success stories are becoming more and more common as coaches understand the positive impact on a program.

Here’s a few programs in Pennsylvania that are benefitting from Hudl Campaign

Bethlehem Catholic

“This is our third year of doing this type of fundraiser, “ said Bethlehem Catholic head football coach Joe Henrich. “We use to do a through pay pal. Hudl program makes its so easy to work with and we are having success.”

Q. What do you like about this fundrasier?

“What’s nice about Hudl you can add a video to your campaign. It’s more of a visual appeal, rather than sending out a email with just a bunch of words.”

Q. How does it work?

“Players enter email address and I can monitor each kid. Any money that is donated to them is linked up to them.”

Crestwood

Q. How is Hudl Campaign helping your program?

“It’s a simple fundraiser to use, “ said head Crestwood football coach Greg Myers. “It’s not a lot of work on my part.”

“The great people at Hudl have a phenomenal software to work with. You don’t have to spend a lot of time. I picked what video I wanted to use and sent some email reminders to the players, that was it.”

Q. Who runs the fundraiser for your program?

“It’s a fundraiser that is driven by the players. That was another reason we really liked this fundraiser. With some of your traditional fundraising, lot of the players don’t have direct involvement with the fundraiser. A lot of the parents normally would take over the fundraiser for the students.”

“This fundraiser gets the players involved more. We explain to them that this isn’t a fundraiser for the parents, its for them. They took ownership and they understood what ever they raised is going to go directly back to them in one form or another.”

Q. Do you think it shows how they can work together as a team to reach their goal?

“Yes, they do spend sometime with the emails. We set some parameters with this fundraiser. We gave them a set quota the needed to reach to send the emails out for the campaign.”

“We setup an award system. Hudl tracks each individual player and gives the coach reports on how many emails they send out and percentage of how many emails where return and who has raised the most funds. We award the top funds raisers in our program. What we did was award our top three and give them a prize.”

“They worked together as a team on this fundraiser and did a great job for the first year of doing it.”
