2018 Offensive Outlook: Offensively the team will have some experience coming back on the O’Line and Skilled positions. Hopefully, combined with the handwork of the off-season and varsity experience that can translate to success on the field. Offensively, sustaining drives and punching the ball in the end zone when within striking distance are keys to success. The big play capability will be missing with the graduation of Michael Welde. There has to be discipline and determination to score.
2018 Defensive Outlook: The defense will also benefit from having a few returning players to help some of the younger players. Defensively, getting to the ball as a unit, tackling well, and creating turnovers will be the emphasis. There has been a struggle in years past giving up the big play on third down. Getting off the field on third down will be play a vital role in the success of the defense.
2018 Special Teams Outlook: Replacing a kicker and a punter is a tricky task. The coverage teams are going to have step up.
