Coaches comment: James was the player of the year in Delaware County last fall. He started at Halfback, Strong Safety and he returned punts and Kickoffs. His stats are: 165 carries for 1347 yards and 18 Rushing TD’s. He caught 13 passes for 499 yards and 4 TD’s. Defensively he had 54 tackles and 3 fumble recoveries.

What the stats do not show is that he is a great person and a fantastic teammate. In addition, he has a knack for making big plays when our team needs them most. He has a strong desire to keep improving and with that in mind joined the track team this spring and medaled at states as part of our 4×400 relay. His split was 47.8.

His is among the finest football players ever to play at Strath Haven.
