WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DAT SAY THERE GOING TO BEAT THEM DAWGS WHO DAT GO DAWGS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW ABOUT THEM DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
see i told ya that the berwick bulldawgs couldbeat wilsonarea. now we justgotta see who we face next. i predict the next game to ofcourse go in the dawgs faver.
Were will Montoursville be ranked after they beat Mount Carmel this week. Yes I said beat, not upset, Mount Carmel is over rated and will not be ready for what they see this week.
I was at the Berwick v. A.H. game. Best game in D-2 last week. Both teams played good defense, Berwick just made less mistakes on offense. Good luck to them against Wilson. Just a little reality check however, T.J. defending state AAA champs look very good and have only 1 loss to a power from Ohio, I don’t believe Berwick or Wilson can compete with them. Wilson has a good offense but did not play anyone yet and never played in AAA. Still have to prove themselves.
I never said that they would win states i said they have a real good shot of beating wilson and move on and then you never no what happens from there and i do not think that wilson is bad i said they play in a weak league and berwick plays lot better teams but will see what happens on game time GO DAWGS!!!!!!!
forget about most of those teams, the AAAA state champs will come from district 1!!!!
yeah although they don’t have the dawgs in the top ten there ranked as an honorable mention team witch is very important. so i know without a dobt after they play on friday against willson area . everything will certainly change. but one thing won’t they will always be the same dawgs. good luck to coach cambell coach mihaly ( my uncle) and the rest of the bulldawgs on friday. beat wilson area.
matt sheptak a very big bulldawgs football fan
i watched that game on tv and berwick did play well for the first 3 quarters. however, the game is four quarters long and berwick did choke and turned the ball over. i respect that you are a diehard bulldog fan and would love to see berwick win it all and i will say good luck to that. however, you have to know something about highschool football to realize that they dont have that great of a chance in the states. i will not take anything away from berwick they are an exceptionally talented team with a great defense but the offense has been struggling lately and when you only score 15 points in the last 2 games against teams like pittston and abington heights when you have to play bigger and better teams that are out there left it doesnt look good, who knows maybe the bulldogs can prove me wrong. i might be a hazleton fan but hell i realized that they were not going to beat freedom this past friday regardless of how i wanted to see them beat them. hazleton had a great team but freedom was bigger and stronger than them and there running back mateo was awesome that night. those teams down that way are huge and i just dont want you to be disappointed if they dont win. best of luck to berwick in the playoffs and if they make it to the state finals i will go to the game if i can just to be proven wrong.
Where’s Cumberland Valley in quad A. They might lose to Mifflin this week but they should at least be HM now. Lost by three to State College in the beginning of the season when they fumbled going in inside the one and have won out since. Surely much better than Dallastown and York-William Penn which are in the weak York county.
Hey tony berwick would of killed halezton if they did not turn the ball over to give halezton the game i meam come on you know berwick was the better team and if you don’t think so you don’t no to much about football GO DAWGS!!!!!!
josh there are at least 3 d12 aaaa pulic league
better than bartram northeast,frankford,overbrook
and also a hand full of pcl d12 aaaa teams that are better did you look at the teams they played
how can you have bartram(d12 aaaa public league) as hororable mention and not have george washington who is the best(d12 aaaa public league) team and playing la salle for d12 aaaa title they would beat bartram no problem
berwick a team not worthy of a top 10 ranking until they actually beat a quality team. abinton heights was a good team but not great. these berwick fans are the same ones who talked smack when they played hazleton area and what happened they got their tail whipped AT HOME. appearently they also dont know much about some of those teams down in district 11 because they are pretty good. berwick goes down by 2 touchdowns. however, if they do beat wilson then they should get a top ten ranking.
To the warriors what team has wilson played that is even any good come on they play such a weak league that it is’t even funny if you think that they are going to throw the ball all over berwick you are nuts GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!! BERWICK 20 WILSON 10 All be back friday night and then you can tell me how you made out and they gave up 40 points to bangor to tthanks and have a nice day
All of the talk about the Berwick defense. Don’t forget about Wilson’s defense. They held Bangor to 0 points and 88 total yards in the D11 championship. On top of that, the Wilson offense can score at will. Berwick has a fine defense, but I don’t see them outscoring Wilson.
I think these rankings are very accurate. Glad to see Dunmore is above GAR since GAR really didn’t beat anybody good. Also it’s good to see Riverside at #1. Other rankings are on the Steel-High bandwagon. Admittedly, Steel-High looks pretty good on film and they have flashy uniforms and all but Riverside has something like 26 players on their entire team and is simply too fast, too mean, and too explosive for anybody to stop them. Dunmore, 9-0 at the time and 07′ state AA runners-up, had their core players back still had no answer for Riverside who went up 28-0 in the blink of an eye. I don’t see anyone beating them unless they dubiously overlook somebody. This might be a bold statement but I think Riverside could win the state even in AA.
Neshamity ahead of GV? That is just an awful statement. Garnet Valley is one of the best teams in the state and will seriously contend against North Penn for a bid to the championship. You’ll see this friday when JAG NATION pounds Neshamity into the turf.
What is it going to take for Upper Moreland to crack the top 10? You have Bayard Rustin ranked at #9. Rustin is a very good team with an 11-1 record but you know who that loss what to? That’s right, Upper Moreland. And UM beat them without their best player Chris Smallwood who has rushed for over 1700 yards and 25 td’s in 9 games this season.
Actually, Jeremy, that’s Week 12 for 2-loss teams, but there are only 10 slots for the Berwick supporters – not 11. For Berwick to crack the Top-10, they would have to be equal to or better than Archbishop Wood, which, in my opinion, they are not, at least right now.
And if you think the rationale of defense, defense, defense should get a team ranked, look at Highlands, a team that went 11-1 and didn’t even sniff 350 points scored this season. They went against a good offensive team in Blackhawk, and lost horribly.
I foresee a similar fate for Berwick this weekend against Wilson, and ranking a team for 1 week just to satisfy a few makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Another reason why he doesnt have them ranked in the top 10 is because he knows they r guna get waxed by wilson next week.. then well see how good the defense is
the reason Berwick is not in the top 10 is because The Funkster does not rank any teams with 2 losses until week 14. This is a rule of thumb that he uses for his rankings every year.
Yeah he don’t have berwick in the top ten because he likes all the west teams and look out for them bulldogs because there back again and they are coming for the gold in states GO BIG BLUE AND GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow berwick has one of the best def in the state and you don’t have them in the top ten wow is it because theydon’t score alot of points i’m telling watch out for the bulldogs go dawgs prove them all wrong and good luck in states
