Milton Hershey comes up short on come back bid

Littlestown got the ball to start the game.  Littlestown was unable to get a first down but instead of punting Matt Koontz faked it and got the first down.  This led to a 55yd Td pass by quarterback Matt Zuber to Mitchell Deaner.

On the next possession Milton Hershey had the ball inside of the red zone.  Sean Doherty intercepted a pass by Maurice Miller ending the scoring threat however.

Littlestown went on to capitalize on the turnover when Zuber threw a Td pass to Koontz making the score 14-0 Littlestown.  Milton Hershey had to punt on its next possession.

When Littlestown got the ball back they fumbled it back to Milton Hershey.  Milton Hershey returned the favor. Miller threw a pass that was intercepted by Brett Quinto.

Littlestown capitalized again when Tyler Fodor ran for a score making it 21-0.  Milton Hershey turned the ball over once again on its next possession when Koontz picked off another pass.  It appeared to be a touchdown but an illegal block negated the run back.

Littlestown gave the ball right back to Milton Hershey when Ronald Hunter ran an interception back 66 yards for the score the score was now 21-7.  Littlestown turned the ball over once again on a fumble.

Milton Hershey got another score when Hunter ran for a score making it 21-14.  Littlestown got the ball one more time before the half but was unable to score.

Tanner Mitz  intercepted another Miller pass at start of the second half giving the ball back to Littlestown.  Littlestown dodged a bullet when the officials blew a call when they fumbled the ball.  The officials called the runner down.

Littlestown had to punt but on the snap it went over the punters head and led to a safety.  The score was now 21-16.

Milton Hershey scored on its next possession when Miller scored on a quarterback keeper giving Milton Hershey its first lead of the game 22-21.  They went for a two-point conversion but were unable to convert.

Littlestown drove the ball down the field on its next possession but had to settle for a field goal.  Littlestown now had the lead 24-22.  Milton Hershey was unable to score on its next possession and had to punt.  Littlestown made a key fourth down conversion on its next possession, which helped them to take more valuable time off the clock.

Milton Hershey was able to get the ball back when Mikeal Pecot intercepted a pass inside the five yard line.  Milton Hershey was able to get out of the shadow of its own goal line but on a key third and five Littlestown came up with a big sack making it fourth down and long.  Milton Hershey was unable to convert the fourth and long giving the ball back to Littlestown.  Littlestown then ran the clock out giving them the victory 24-22.
