Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase was the longest-running showcase event in Central Pennsylvania.  The first Showcases took place in 2008 and 2009. Unfortunately, as a result of the global pandemic the Showcase was canceled in 2020 and the event hasn’t taken place since 2019. There were discussions in 2021 and 2022 about the possibility of organizing another Showcase, but the organization decided against arranging another Showcase.  After careful thought and consideration, we are proud to announce that Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase is back!  The Showcase will take place on Friday, May 19th, 2023 at Milton Hershey School.

Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. and the showcase will start at 5:30 p.m. The showcase is not invitation-only and is open to all student-athletes who will be in grades 9-12 in the 2023-2024 calendar year.

Featured on this year’s staff is Milton Hershey’s Head Coach, Jeff Boger.  The entire Milton Hershey Football Staff will be assisting with the drills at the showcase.  The staff will provide expert football instruction and assist them in getting an early start in their recruitment.

Over fifty colleges have been invited and many are expected to attend the Showcase.  Please check www.pashowcase.com for the final listings of college confirmations.  The athletes will be evaluated by college coaches during the entire showcase.

The athletes will go through testing drills in the 40-yard dash (twice, fastest time kept), the pro agility shuttle (twice, fastest time kept), and the standing broad jump (twice, longest jump kept).  Then the players will participate in their specific position drills for observation and then showcase their skills in one-on-ones to conclude the showcase camp.

A good performance at the showcase will certainly help your ability to be recruited as colleges pay attention to top performers, the results, as well as the video available from the event.  Showcases catch the eye of the colleges and the staff has noticed interest from colleges increase dramatically for prospects that performed well over the years.

Over three hundred and fifty student-athletes through the class of 2020 have participated in Mr. PA Football’s Elite College Showcase and have continued their playing careers in college.  Here are some of the former attendees who are showcase alumni, Nicholas Singleton (Penn State), Brandon George (Pitt), Bobby Walchak (Penn State), Kane Everson (William & Mary), Damion Barber (Marshall), Kyle Friend (Temple), Kobay White (Boston College & Maine), Robert Martin (Rutgers), Kevin Synder (Rutgers), Jalen Fitzpatrick (Temple), John O’Korn (Michigan), Amechie Walker (Iowa State), John Hicks (Connecticut), Aaron Gethers (Boston College), Onasis Neely (Temple), and Dylan Neidrowski (Connecticut), Shaquon Anderson-Butts (Hampton), Andre White, Jr. (Texas A&M), Nazir Burnett (Temple), Stanford Maison (Georgetown), and Gaige Hill (Toledo).

The showcase will give players the opportunity to compete with other athletes and measure their skill sets.  The showcase staff will send the results to colleges for verification purposes if requested by the institution.  Go to www.pashowcase.com for more information and registration.
