2015 Outlook: Please let us know the keys about your team on offense, defense and special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?
Offense: Wing T – Dorsey is our senior and big play threat, while Shermeyer is a smart talented Junior QB. Newcomers (limited experience) Larry Leffler and Brandon Zumbrum will be fine targets for the passing game. In effort to replace the productivity of Kadis and Little we will look to a assortment of backs to find the right combination (Zach Hart, Ryan Hart, Alec Matland, Logan Panzer, Andrew Hernadez) with Sean Sneeringer bolstering FB. With only 2 other returning starters on the line Chase Kint, Bryce Perkins the strong junior class will be the core of the starting units offensively and defensively. Our success will hinge on how quickly our young guys get acclimated to Varsity football. It has been an advantage having coached under Steve Wiles allowing us to continue the same offensive system with a few wrinkles as a first year head coach.
Defense: 4-4 – We plan to be more aggressive than years past to offset the key losses and inexperience, leveraging some of our athleticism.
Special Team: We are currently trying to lock down a full time kicker.
