Coaches Comments: Joneil switched roles for us and became the starting QB as a freshman 5 days before our first game last year and handled it all in stride. He is an outstanding runner with great vision, quickness, instincts, and the speed to pull away from the defense. He accounted for 16 total touchdowns and lead us in two last-minute comeback victories. On the defensive side he only played 4 games on the defensive side where he was slated to start before the change. You need to be aware of where he is because he enjoys delivering the hits and a nose for the ball. We are excited for what the future holds for him as we move him around to showcase his strengths.
