Offensive Player of the Week

Kaelin Costello – Arch. Wood – Sr – RB

In the Vikings’ 41-7 win over Conwell-Egan Costello spearheaded his team’s offensive attack with three touchdowns and 198 yards on 19 carries. His scoring runs covered 16, 39, and 12 yards, respectively. Costello used a combination of patience, good feet, and quickness to unleash his damage.

Defensive Player of the Week

Ryan Woertz – Arch. Wood – Sr – DB

The versatile Woertz had his fingerprints all over the Vikings’ 41-7 win over Conwell-Egan last week. Defensively, he made a nifty interception and then proceeded to go untouched 61 yards for a touchdown. He notched 4 tackles in the game, including a sack that resulted in a 16-yard loss. He also added a pass defend. For good measure, Woertz accumulated 186 all-purpose yards in the game.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Malik Cooper – St. Joe’s Prep – Sr – KR/WR

In the Hawks, 51-43, win over Souderton in the PIAA 6A Semifinal Cooper had three returns that amassed 130 yards. Included in this was a 86-yard touchdown return on a kickoff to start the second half. As it turns out this touchdown proved to be the game-winner, as Souderton made a furious comeback after the Hawks went to reserves after going up, 51-7. Cooper also added another 39-yard return to help set-up a score in the first quarter.
