Philadelphia Catholic League Players of the Week Week of October 16, 2020

Offensive Player of the Week

Max Keller – Archbishop Wood – QB – Senior

The Vikings’ signal caller impressed in his team’s opener by going 13-for-18 with 198 yards and two scores (11 & 46 yards). He added a rushing touchdown with a 1-yard sneak, as Wood bested Bishop McDevitt, 35-14. In the game, Keller distributed well in completing passes to seven different Vikings.

 

Defensive Player of the Week

Devon Harris – Bonner-Prendie – DE – Senior

In the Friars 21-0 blanking of Roman Catholic, Harris notched a pair of sacks that produced 23 yards in losses. All total, B-P held Roman to 61 yards of total offense, including minus-28 on the ground. Harris’ helped set the tone with great defensive line play.

 

Special Teams Player of the Week

Brennan Robinson – Archbishop Carroll – KR – Senior

Robinson unleashed a pair of identical 80-yard kickoff returns in the Patriots’ season-opening, 40-6, to win over Ryan. He added another touchdown on the ground and accounted for 220 all-purpose yards in the game.
