As part of the network’s formal partnership with the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation, PCN will air a special live program about the Big 33 this Thursday, February 25 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Dave Trimbur, interim executive director of the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation and Gregg Mace, sports director at WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, will be the featured guests of this special program which will explain the benefits this annual football classic brings to chosen players, cheerleaders, host families, buddies and scholarship winners.
Known as the “High School Super Bowl,” players from both Pennsylvania and Ohio are selected for being a positive role model on and off the football field by the Big 33 Selection Committee.
In addition to the game, the Big 33 also awards academic scholarships to high school seniors as well as provides fundraisers to support local charities and high schools in both Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Kick off for this year’s game on June 19 is 7:00 p.m. at Hershey Park Stadium. PCN will provide coverage of the game to its viewers in more than 3 million homes across the state.
