Offensive Player of the Week:
-Saleem Frink (Bonner-Pren. -Jr. – RB): The Friars’ bruising compliment to Mick Johnson rumbled for 184 yards on just ten carries. Twice he found paydirt and in recent weeks has proven to be quite the weapon for B-P’s dual-threat offense.
Offensive Honor Roll:
-Mick Johnson (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – RB): Johnson was electric in the Friars state semifinal win by going for 147 yards and four scores on just 12 totes.
-Charlie Foulke (SJ Prep – Soph. – QB): Foulke directed the Hawks’ offense with a three scoring pass performance. He finished 17-for-31 for 194 yards.
-Semaj Beals (Roman – Jr. – QB): Just another day at the office for Beals as he tossed four touchdown passes and threw for 298 yards in the Cahillites’ big win over West Chester Rustin.
-Jojo DeLeece (Roman – Soph. – RB): DeLeece continued his fine play at running back late in the season by going for 116 yards on 15 carries (1 TD).
-Eyan Stead (Roman – Soph. – WR): The shifty Stead paced the dynamic Cahillite receiver corps with 6 catches for 105 yards. Adding a pair of scores; 18 and 29 yards.
Defensive Player of the Week:
-Jaasai Simmons (Roman – Sr. – DE): Simmons paced the Cahillites defense with a team-high 8 tackles. His play helped contain a usual potent WC Rustin ground game.
Defensive Honor Roll:
-Freddy DiNardo (Roman – Jr. – DL): DiNardo was once again staunch along the Cahillites’ defensive front. He finished with a sack amongst is seven total stops.
-Walter Hudson (Roman – Soph. – LB): Hudson was effective yet again as he finished with seven tackles and a fumble recovery.
-Robert Nettles-Carter (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – S): RNC led the Friars defense with 9 tackles (5 solo) and a TFL.
-Austin Lyons (Arch. Ryan – Jr. – LB): Lyons featured six solo tackles, a TFL, and an interception in the Raiders Turkey Day win over GW.
-Mason Bey (Neum.-Gor. – DL – Frosh.): The youngster made his presence known by registering a trio of sacks on the Saints Thanksgiving Day game win over Southern.
Special Teams Player of the Week:
-Isaiah Smith (Bonner-Pren. – Jr. – K): Smith was perfect on point-after attempts nailing all seven of his attempts.
Multi-Purpose Player of the Week:
-Jalil Hall (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – WR/DE): Hall was a force on both sides of the ball with 5 catches for 104 yards and a 33-yard score. Defensively, he was disruptive with five total tackles; including two for losses.
