Co-Offensive Player of the Week:
-Yeboa Cobbold (Lansdale Cath. – Jr. – QB): Cobbold produced a balanced game in his team’s comeback win over West Catholic. He accounted for all three touchdowns in the 22-20 win. On the ground he scored twice and rushed for 119 yards on 18 carries. Through the air he added another 112 yards and a TD, on 10-for-15 accuracy.
Offensive Honor Roll:
-Charlie Foulke (St. Joe’s Prep – Soph. – QB): Foulke passed for 288 yards and 4 scores in the Hawks’ convincing win over Roman Catholic.
-Ramier Hardy (St. Joe’s Prep – Sr. – WR): Hardy made five snags for 87 yards and scored twice.
-Gavin Sidwar (LaSalle – Jr. – QB): Just another day at the office for Sidwar, as he went an efficient 11-for-14, with 233 yards and two TDs in the Explorers’ dismantling of Judge.
-Kyreese Bradley (Neum.Gor. – Sr. – RB): Bradley ran hard for 105 yards and a TD in the Saints impressive win over Ryan.
-Nick O’Brien (Lansdale Cath. – Jr. – RB): O’Brien complimented Cobbold’s effort with 124 yards rushing on 17 carries.
Defensive Player of the Week:
-Khalil Holley (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – DL): Holley was a force in the Friars 28-10 win over rival O’Hara. A fixture in the Lions’ backfield, he totaled 10 total tackles; including 2.5 sacks and one other TFL.
Defensive Honor Roll:
-Daniel Adefolarin (Neum.-Gor. – Sr. – DL): The steady Adefolarin paced a Saints’ defense that shutout a hot Ryan squad, 14-0. He finished with a sack amongst his seven tackles.
-Sakai Hall (Con.-Egan – Soph. – DB): Hall notched a pair of picks in the game (41 yards in returns) and added six tackles in the Eagles’ blanking of Carroll.
-Brian Shimp (Con.-Egan – Sr. – OLB): Shimp had a game-high 11 tackles (9 solo) for the Eagles.
-Masiia Acrey (St. Joe’s Prep – Soph. – DB): Acrey was productive throughout for the Hawks, as witnessed by his 32-yard interception return for touchdown, 4 tackles, and 4 pass defends.
-Alex Haskell (St. Joe’s Prep – Jr. – DE): Haskell was a factor in the Hawks’ defensive effort that held Roman to negative rushing yards. He made five tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and forced a fumble.
Special Teams Player of the Week:
-Leo Ricci (St. Joe’s Prep – Sr. – K/P: Ricci was a perfect 6-for-6 on PATS, belted two field goals (37 & 41 yards), added a pair of touchbacks, and punted thrice for a 43.7 average.
Multi-Purpose Player of the Week:
-Monty Zoryea (Con.-Egan – Sr. – RB/DB): Zoryea scored touchdowns on both sides of the ball in the Eagles, 28-0, win over Carroll. On offense, he rushed 12 times for 130 yards (59-yard TD; 10.8 YPC). Defensively, he had a key interception that went for a 23-yard score, while adding a pass defend and a pair of tackles.
Spectacular in Defeat:
-Sya’mir Jackson (West Cath. – Soph. – WR/DB/KR): Jackson scored two touchdowns in returns in West Catholic’s close loss to Lansdale Catholic. First, on the last play of the first half he made an interception and raced 100 yards for a touchdown. Later, he added another score on a 75-yard kickoff return. He totaled 219 yards on 5 returns and added three tackles on defense for the Burrs.
