Football fans saw several records set in Eastern Pennsylvania last week.
South Williamsport’s Dominick Bragalone rushed for 427 yards on 37 carries and six touchdowns. The 427 yards is a Lycoming County single-game rushing record.
Pennridge’s Joe Unangst rushed for 257 yards on 28 carries and five touchdowns, which ties a school record. Ryan Greiser in 2004 and Louis Riddick in 1986 held the previous touchdown record.
Lackawanna Trail’s Ross Fauquier had another interception return for a touchdown. This is his third game in a row with an interception returned for a touchdown.
Northwestern Lehigh’s Frank Dangello was 9-16 for 144 yards and four touchdowns, the first time in school history that a quarterback threw for four touchdowns. He now has 40 Career touchdown passes.
Northwestern Lehigh’s Cam Richardson had five catches for 122 yards and four touchdowns, the first time in school history a receiver caught four in a game. The previous record was two. He tied Larry Caamano for all-time career receptions (73). He also had a rushing TD to go with his four receiving TDs to tie the all time record for TDs in a game.
Northwestern Lehigh’s Harry Hall had 19 carries for 141 yards and moved past Austin Bleam for third place in career rushing yards with 2478. Only head coach Josh Snyder and his brother Brett Snyder have more.
Martin Luther King’s Nasir Boykin completed 25-40 for 384 yards passing, four touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. The 384 yards are a school record passing.
Martin Luther King’s Dominique McNeil caught 11 passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns. The 190 yards receiving in a game is a school record.
Easton Area’s Shane Simpson had seven touchdowns in a game against Whitehall. The seven touchdowns break the 89-year-old record of Jim Hanlon. Hanlon had six touchdowns in a game in 1925. Source: Duke Helm

@Brian The game was actually pretty close for a while that’s why he has so many carries. If you look at some of the other games this season and see he doesn’t have that many carries.
There is no reason Bragalone needs to get 37 carries against the team they played tonight. It just goes to show that all South is concerned about is padding his stats. Great running back but when you continue to run him against the oppositions 2nd teams and 3rd teams I discredit any of it. No I’m not at the game but 37 carries seriously. There are other guys who should be getting opportunities to carry the ball in case he goes down with an injury, which is possible. It already happened to him earlier this year. Not impressed by the numbers at all.
