Football’s Finest Will Be Recognized in December
Fans, Media & Coaches To Vote
(Harrisburg, PA) – Wayde D. Marsico President/CEO of SportsRecruiters.com announced they will sponsor the first Mr. Pennsylvania football awards in December. The awards will be presented in mid-December to the best high school football players in Pennsylvania. There will be two awards presented; one for the Small School Mr. Pennsylvania, which will consist of class A and AA players, and one for the Big School Mr. Pennsylvania, which will consist of class AAA and AAAA players. The two players will be chosen by football fans, sportswriters/ sportscasters, and coaches from around the state. Fans will be able to nominate their favorite players, and the media panel from major media markets as well as coaches from across the state will be voting for the outstanding players.
The nomination process is open to all high school football players in Pennsylvania. Players will be nominated by fans via text voting, and the results will be listed on the web site with their votes being tabulated and displayed. The text voting is open to all contracted cell phone carriers and pre paid customers. The directions to text vote are as follows; text “Grab mrpafootball (Players Name)” to 23333 to vote for the player that you want to nominate. The cost is .99 cents per vote, and a portion of the proceeds are being donated to various charities which be listed on MRPAFOOTBALL.com. After the nominating process, the directions for text voting keywords for the Finest Forty etc. and the time line will be made available. The deadline for the nominations will be November 10th, 2010. MRPAFOOTBALL.com will provide voting rules and publish the results after each time line listed below. The following will be the selection process time line:

SportsRecruiters.com is excited to sponsor this award in Pennsylvania. Sixteen states with rich high school football traditions such as Texas, Florida, Ohio, California, Alabama, and Oklahoma present awards annually (in collaboration with fans, coaches, and the sports media). With Pennsylvania being a hotbed for high school football, it’s about time Pennsylvania has its own Mr. Football which is long overdue according to sportswriters and football enthusiasts.
