2022 Offensive Outlook: “We feel that we finally have some offensive line depth, returning 4 starters (Ryan Shaner – C, Mike Scalia – G, Owen Norman – RT, and Luke Ellor, who may move to LT) and others who will challenge them. This offensive line depth was lacking the past few years. We have to replace our RB, which may be by committee, with Gage Swanger, who will also play WR, and Will Fish. We think that we may be able to move Zach Zollers to WR full-time with some depth at TE. We have some promising WRs (Belal Abdelrahmen, Mason Scott, AJ Folino, among others). This summer will be critical, as they lack game experience. Matt Zollers, who started 1 game as a freshman and split time into 5 other games, will return as our starting QB.”
2022 Defensive Outlook: “We have key returnees at each level of the defense, but will have to replace 3 starters in the defensive backfield. Gage Swanger returns at S. Travell Wellons, Jake Reigh, Kevin Canuso, and Shane Lewis will compete for the other DB positions. At LB, Will Fish and Mike Bendowski return. Seniors Matt Yurko, among others, will compete for the 3rd spot. Luke Pajovich, Evan Strzeminski, and Zach Zollers return on the defensive line. Franny Undercuffler, Brandon Gass, and some underclassmen will compete for the remaining spot.”
2022 Special Teams Outlook: “Jake Reigh, who handled the punting duties, and Sam Herman and Liam McGarvey will compete for the kicking spot.”
