Three starting OL – Dan Herbster, Donte Burgese and Matt Donoghue (Donoghue is generating FBS & FCS college interest), DLs Andrew Gryzbowski and Dalton Mayberry, LBs Ryan Van Horn and Steven Elf, DBs David McGrath and Mitchell Rose and K Brandon Dowd.
The Jaguars have a wealth of experience and a solid 76-18 overall record (.808) since 2004, but have to prove it can overcome the Suburban One League if it does indeed surge into the latter rounds of the District 1 AAAA playoffs.

Like I said earlier, they just meant the game against Council Rock South. C.R. South was one of the most physical teams I watched all year against GV. I believe this year that Garnet Valley will face C.R. South again in the playoffs and beat them.
The Suburban League Comment at the end of this article is completely inaccurate and ridiculous. GV is 3-2 against SB1 in 4A Playoffs. Wins against Central Bucks South, Pennsbury, Pennridge and losses against Council Rock South and one of the closest games I ever witnessed Neshaminy in 2008.

He’s talking about how they didn’t overcome the Suburban One last year. Even though they beat C.B. South, they still allowed 48 points in that game and once they faced Council Rock South, they got physically beaten down.
Correction they never won against Neshaminy. The time they did meet was in 2008 playoffs where Neshaminy won 21-14.

What are you taliking about overcoming the Suburban One League? Since 2007 they have beat Neshaminy, Pennsbury, and Pennridge in the playoffs. Most of those schools have two or more times the male enrollment as GV.
