Special Team Starters Returning: (1)

Seldon Rogers 6-0 150, kicker/punter

Key Newcomers: Seldon Rogers 6-0, 155 Junior. Making a full time transition from soccer to football. Seldon was a blessing for us in the kicking game last season. He is an athlete who could play in many different roles.

2017 Offensive Outlook: We have a lot of returning starters from last year’s squad. They were a young group or year ago, and gained a lot of experience. I am excited about this groups potential. It is vital for this group to stay healthy. Depth is always an issue in small school like Troy.

2017 Defensive Outlook: To be a good football team we understand that it is imperative to have a much better defense than we had one year ago. We do have a good group of returning guys that got a lot of experience one year ago . We are confident that our experienced players will direct any newcomers and bring the up to speed quickly. I feel if we can stay healthy as a team and get a little better every week we could have a great year.

2017 Special Teams Outlook: We have always taken a lot of pride in special teams. It’s a huge part of our program. We are fortunate to have Rogers returning as a punter/kicker and He has the potential for being one of the better kickers in the area.
