2023 Offensive Outlook: While the Cougars have typically relied on the highlight reel plays of #1 Samir Smith and #2 Jermaine Davis, they are bringing back their Sophomore Quarterback Jamai Robinson who is set to take leaps and bounds both in the passing and rushing game. Receivers Zion Harris and Trae Tindal will also make an impact in their increased role in the Cougars offense.
2023 Defensive Outlook: The Cougars found a rhythm in their defense mid-last year, delivering two key shut-outs resulting in the first two victories in program history. Led by the coaching of DC Jordan Holbert, look for this year’s Cougars defense to make an even bigger splash on the backs of DL Quidier Williams, LB Hassan Spencer, and DBs Samir Smith and Jermaine Davis.
