Our defensive player of the week is Danville’s Matt Meloy. Against Lewisburg he had three interceptions in a 34-13 win over Lewisburg.
Our top tackler of the week is Waynesboro’s Forrest Rhyne. He had 23 total tackles against East Pennsboro.
We had four players that recorded three sacks in their game. They are Southern Columbia’s Blake Marks, Bishop Shanahan’s Doug Costin, West Philadelphia’s Mustafa Owens and Sun Valley’s Wali Sabree.
Catasauqua’s Miguel Hernandez led all players with an 84 yard fumble return for a touchdown.
The top interception return for a touchdown was by Berwick’s Alex Koch. He went 86 yards for the touchdown.
Lehighton’s Nick Chambers’ 20 yard blocked punt for a touchdown was tops this week and Bishop McDevitt’s Matt Geiger had a 79 yard blocked field goal for a touchdown put him on top too
