Josh Medvic at Calvary Christian: 4 sacks against Kutztown.
September 9th, 2011 at 6:13 pm
Watched the PCC/Wood game on ESPN. Looked like PCC was a little deeper but all in all looked like 2 evenly matched teams. I know its early but PPC looks like they could be the team to beat in 4A. No disrepect to anyone else. Wood is clearly the team to beat in 3A even tho they lost. I know ACC is the defending champ but giving up 62 drops them a peg or 2. Long season tho and anything can happen.

@ paknightsfan – pretty bold statements to be making about a Pen Argyl team who opened up against a Saucon Valley team coming off consecutive 3-7 seasons and is picked to finish last in the Colonial.
September 9th, 2011 at 7:52 am
J.P. McCaskey QB Jon Huylo passed for 349 yards and 3TD’s @ Coatesville in the spread offense. Also Wr Diante Cherry had 11 rec for 189 yards and 2TD’s..They will look to lead McCaskey tonight against York and get back in the win colume..

September 8th, 2011 at 7:14 am

September 7th, 2011 at 2:12 pm
Island Coast also a 6a school in Florida with many D-1 prospects
September 7th, 2011 at 2:11 pm
Delaware Valley beat Island Coast (Florida) 24-14. Island Coast’s RB Mario Pender committed to FSU already. Held him to only 60 yards on the ground. Very impressive win on a true road trip.
September 6th, 2011 at 1:45 pm
1. Nick Dudley D. east
2. Kyle Lauletta D.east
3. Zack Hart Downingtown West
September 6th, 2011 at 8:24 am
I agree Billy….Everyone needs to calm down. IF you attack a player, coach or team I won’t post your comment. It’s that simple. Show respect…we”re talking mostly about High School students here.
The thread is who stood out!!!
September 5th, 2011 at 11:44 pm
ok guys, lets calm it down a bit. threats we dont need.
September 5th, 2011 at 4:36 pm
Sepa don’t kid yourself your no expert or a guru your just a guy that hides on the boards.
September 5th, 2011 at 4:31 pm
Sepa you think your some expert huh? Those sparq times and EsPn times are old times from his freshman and sophomore years. He hasn’t camped since 2 summers ago. So again your WRONG. His 40 was timed electronically on visits to Rutgers, Va Tech and Pitt. All in the 4.4’s from 2011 Anytime you want to come out to east let me know and we can end all the talk. Talk is cheap Guru and thats all you do is talk and hate.216 yds 3 yds against the #1 team in PA. I guess now ACC sucks right? lol
September 5th, 2011 at 4:08 pm
an just like this site said downingtown east routes acc
September 5th, 2011 at 3:38 pm
an get your 40 times up dated
September 5th, 2011 at 1:13 pm
@ New Fan, As a former player for Garnet Valley, one of Coach Ricci’s mindsets for the two-platoon was that the other team would get tired over the course of the game and GV wouldn’t, but that was back when GV actually had 22 good players. They don’t have 22 good players anymore, they have like 5 and the defense now looks more tired than the other team’s star player that goes both ways.
September 5th, 2011 at 12:49 pm
@eastbetterthanwest
All SPARQ and NFTC times are electronic buddy. Rivals can be entered straight from a player/coach submitted information sheet. I didn’t miss the 50 yarder either. He made one kid miss and had phenomenal blocking. He’s a really good RB but don’t kid yourself about the 4.4.
I agree with Buddy though. I thought that 40yd FG was good but I was surprised that Devlin didn’t try to get Colin Thompson more involved in the passing game. I understand he has a tremendous oline and two superb rb’s but you have the nations #1 TE according to espn playing the #22 team in the nation and he has one catch for 5 yards…?
September 5th, 2011 at 10:29 am
@ James Loney, Garnet Valley needs to change fast. The days of not letting kids go both ways prevents you from having your best players on the field. They are not talented or deep enough to have kids only play 1 side of the ball. Defense was horrible.
September 5th, 2011 at 9:45 am
Ryan Egolf had a great week. 8-10 165 yards 4 tds.
He didnt need to do anymore. He was pulled after half.
September 5th, 2011 at 9:10 am
Wood did themselves proud against PCC. An excellent game that Wood could have just as easily won. No shame there. Kudos.
September 5th, 2011 at 8:53 am
yet you miss the 50 yarder at the end? wow you justwant to be right. ok.
September 5th, 2011 at 12:53 am
So only ESPN is official? lol. I knew you were to weak to admit defeat. FYI those aren’t official times on ESPN
September 4th, 2011 at 10:53 pm
“I’m right here. I’ll admit, I was wrong about D-Town East and ACC as teams. ACC lost more than I had thought in the trenches and D-Town East took it to them. They really sent a message with the win. However if anything, the game video shows Harris’s lack of speed. In the first play from EPAF’s video, he gets caught by not one, but two kids. He breaks the tackles but elite speed…? No. I never said he wasn’t a good RB b/c he is a very good RB.
September 4th, 2011 at 10:43 pm
McCaskey Sr. Johnathan Hulyo completed 25 of 43 for 349yrds 3TD’s and 1INT. His favorite target was Jr. WR Diante Cherry who caught 11 balls for 189yrds and 2TD’s!
September 4th, 2011 at 9:43 pm
For everyone telling me Drew Harris runs a 4.4 40…
http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/combine/_/id/107971
And we know this is official because the only testing results that go up on ESPN are from SPARQ Combines or Nike football events… boom.
September 4th, 2011 at 9:10 pm
Pen Argyl looked very impressive. They were up 36-0 a few seconds into the second quarter and the starters were finished by the midway point of the second quarter. Dylan Evans literally jumed over a standing defender on his way to the end zone (the most amazing thing I have ever seen on a high school football field). I am not seeing much about them in rankings but they are a huge favotite to win the Colonial League over Northern Lehigh (ranked) and in my opionion are better than Pius X (ranked).
Here is the local article if you want to take a look.

Could do some real damage at States this year.
September 4th, 2011 at 5:38 pm
Robbie Siclari (Western Wayne)
scored 5 TDs, rushed for 196 yards, 80 yard kick return to the house, and carried Western Wayne to its biggest win in years.
The wildcats were down 34-12 at half and came back to win 40-12.
Robbie score 3 TDs in the last 5 mins of the fourth
September 4th, 2011 at 2:09 pm
Tim DiGiorgio Jr. QB Frankford
14-22 273yds 3 td’s
September 4th, 2011 at 12:53 pm
Where is Sepa Guru? LoL it’s all good. Great win for D.East I think they showed great depth and an ability to make plays at the right time. Buddy I know that North Penn will bounce back they are a great program with a great coach. Hopefully east gets their rematch this year. Looking fwd to the Rustin game.
September 4th, 2011 at 11:32 am
Colin Buckley and the LaSalle juniors who proved that the tradition continues on Cheltenham Ave !
September 4th, 2011 at 11:06 am
The entire Ridley football program. Never rated very high in polls, always small players, rarely a Div I player on the team. They put a TEAM on the field with students who LIVE in the school district, don’t recruit or provide scholarships.
They are like the Oakland Raiders of old. They “Just Win” week in and week out , year in and year out with the talent that shows up.
Congratulation to the coaching staff and the players for a Big Win to start the season. Playing all 4 quarters and never ever giving up on your self.
In the last 5 year played in 3 district 1 Championships games winning 2. Played in 2 Eastern Championship Games
Play every down like it’s your last! Go Big Green Machine !
September 4th, 2011 at 8:50 am
North penn just wasn’t ready for prime time……..D-town East was…… LaSalle could lose next two games, hopefully acquiring some humility………and the beat goes on…..
September 4th, 2011 at 8:26 am
Great job guys! Keep it coming!
September 4th, 2011 at 4:24 am
JT Blyden – Sophomore RB from Avon Grove. Had 242 yards rushing on 19 carries and 4 touchdowns. He’s also a ball hawking safety for the Red Devils. Kids a stud.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:37 am
Michael Keir QB Roman Catholic over West Catholic 13-22 232 2 pass TDs 1 rush TD, very impressive controlled the game, West had no answer for him.
September 4th, 2011 at 12:32 am
JT Blyden (SO) RB runs 19-242 4Tds for Avon Grove .FYI Drew sure look like a 4.4 speed back tonight & looked Jacked at 215 ,,,,,
September 3rd, 2011 at 11:59 pm
LaSalle passing game is awesome. Very crisp and efficient. Of course, there were some incompletes but can’t remember one dropped ball of passes that were reasonably catchable. They should represent Philadelphia well next week against Bergen Catholic. I’m so there.
September 3rd, 2011 at 11:25 pm
Robbie Siclari (remember the name)
23 Carries 195 yds 4 td’s
1 Reception 33 yards
1 Kick off for a TD 80 yards
Western wayne was down by 22 at halftime 34-12 and came back to beat wyoming area 40-34. Robbie carried the team on his back…
September 3rd, 2011 at 9:51 pm
Downingtown East and “elite” speed back Drew Holla Harris. TOLD YOU SO HATERS!
September 3rd, 2011 at 9:50 pm
To all the haters told u so drew harris is for real over 200 an 3tds downingtown east is for real
September 3rd, 2011 at 9:13 pm
Colin Buckley, WR, LaSalle
Week 1 vs North Penn: 9 catches, 165 yeards, 4 TD’s
Yes, 4 TD’s. Won the game with his own two hands.
September 3rd, 2011 at 6:17 pm
Jarred Muffely scored three touchdowns and had two picks against Thorpe so I’d have to give him player of the week.
September 3rd, 2011 at 5:44 pm
robbie siclari 195 yds rushing 5 t.d kick return for t.d western wayne down 34-12 at half time comes back to win 40-34
September 3rd, 2011 at 12:24 pm
Garnet Valley is on the decline if they don’t get their act together….Richie Sampson from Unionville shredded their defense for over 200 rushing yards
September 3rd, 2011 at 11:49 am
so far, it’s Souderton. Even with their lose to Neshaminy, they were impressive. Neshaminy is almost unbeatable at home, and Souderton could have easily won that game. Turnovers did them in. If they can shake that off, yhey may bot lose another regular season game.
September 3rd, 2011 at 9:45 am
Dallas VS Coughlin
Dallas looked great. Dallas moved the ball at will in the 1st half. They went conservative in the second half. They have a new QB. I think his name is Ryan Zapoticky. He is a Junior and the play I thought was wonderful, he stepped up into the pocket and threw a 60 yard strike for a TD. Three touchdowns overall. Great Job Dallas.
September 3rd, 2011 at 9:42 am
Easton very impressive. Pennsbury very depressing. I think the falcons need a new head coach, they are never ready to play until week three. Offensive play calling is pathetic. A change at the top is long overdo.
