  1. How is it that Bishop McDevitt plays in the West side of the STATE, The West side of the BRACKET for PIAA playoffs but in the East/West All-Star game they are on the East TEAM??????

    1. HP: District 3 is divided by the Susquehanna for the all-star game..same think kinda happens in the Wellsboro/Jersey Shore area, they were on the west team.

  2. The mid-penn getting some love in both all-star games. That receiver from SusquehannTwp is a great player, had a great season, can’t wait to see what he does at the next level

  3. Yes agreed Buck2, Bloom got some good ones this year it looks including Daron Boone who made the above squad at Linebacker.

  4. Hey huskyfan it’s only one game. I’m excited about watching those three and the other recruits that Bloom signed for their 2015 class. Honestly I’d rather have four years than one game. LOL. check out all of their recruits at buhuskies.com

  5. It is like The coal region does not exist. i know its not as great as it used to be in Football but geez at least have one kid represent the area.
Not one player from Northumberland, Luzerne or Schuylkill Counties! Aiedlinger, Popson, Gadinski all very good players that were not in area’s that had real influential newspapers. Those 3 were better than most of the kids they picked in the past for the East West game from the Coal Region.

  6. Does anyone know the basis on the roster picks? What are the determining factors?? I find it incredibly absurd that the District 2 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year (NPF) are not on this roster, yet, players that were not even on the D2 offensive or defensive teams are picked. I am not taking anything away from those players, and I congratulate them for being picked, I just don’t see the justification in leaving off kids with resumes as the MVP’s.

  7. The PSFCA has always had a bias against AA and A schools and their players. If it’s going to be like this every year, why don’t they have 2 games- one for big schools (4A & 3A) and another for small schools (2A & 1A). Otherwise, kids from the small schools will continue to get overlooked.

  8. No Dominic Bragalone or Frank Aigeldinger on this east team. Who picked this, obviously didn’t look what they accomplished this year.
